Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for Edward P. Weber, 91, who died Monday at St. Cloud Hospital. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and one hour before services Friday at the church in Sartell. Parish prayers will be 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Edward Weber was born in St. Cloud to William S. and Anna (Enderle) Weber. He married Priscilla Neils on Jan. 20, 1937, at the chapel in the St. Cloud Hospital. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in June 1931 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He returned to St. Cloud to join his father in business at Weber Jewelry and Music Co., which he owned and operated until retiring in 1970. He was currently a member of the St. Cloud Lions and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He was formerly a member of the Elks, the Historical Society, the St. Cloud Civic Music Organization, the St. Cloud Country Club, the Executive Club, Friends of the Library, and the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce. He was on the St. Cloud District 742 school board for 12 years and was on the Board of Directors of what is now Norwest Bank (Guaranty State Bank) for 14 years.
Survivors include his wife; sons and daughters, William Neils Weber of Helena, Mont., Edward R. of Little Rock, Ark., Virginia Voeller of Alexandria, Va., and James P. of Foley; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Ebert of Bettendorf, Iowa. Memorials are preferred.
