Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 28 at St. John's Catholic Church in Meire Grove for Theresa Welle, who died Friday, October 24 at the St. Cloud Hospital after battling cancer for three years. Rev. Ronald Dockendorf will officiate with Rev. Ken Thielman concelebrating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. St. Mary's Society will pray at 7 p.m. followed by Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Melrose.
Theresa (Bzdok) Welle was born in Little Falls, Minnesota on May 22, 1942 to John and Angeline (Borash) Bzdok.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Welle of Meire Grove; children, Debbie (Steve) DeVries of Monticello, Tammy (Al) Koetter of Melrose, Scott (Melissa) Welle of St. Anna, Kim (Jim) Blonigen of Monticello, and Shawn (Vicki) Welle of Brooklyn Park; 13 grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Rose (Don) Klinkhammer of Long Prairie, Joe (Joyce) Bzdok of Little Falls, Martha Woitalla of Harding, and Ed (Kathy) Bzdok of Little Falls; and sister-in-law, LaVerne Bzdok of Little Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, George Bzdok.
