Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Selina "Sally" Eisenschenk, age 85, who died Thursday at her home. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Monday at Wenner Funeral home in Cold Spring, MN. The Christian Women will pray a rosary at 4:30 followed by parish prayers at 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
Sally Eisenschenk was born in Cold Spring, MN to Nicholas and Elizabeth (Thiesen) Nies. She married Frank Eisenschenk on May 12, 1942 in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN. Sally worked in physical therapy at the Assumption Nursing Home. She enjoyed embroidering, gardening, crossword puzzles, rosary making, baking, and entertaining. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish and Christian women.
Survivors include her children, Jane (Jerry) Frieler of Cold Spring, Pat (Joan) of Long Prairie, Erick (Linda) of Cold Spring, Steve (Rita) of Richmond; daughter-in-law, Linda Eisenschenk; sisters and brothers, Sister Luella Marie, Veronica Schneider, Marie Schmitt, Meinrad (Mary) Nies, Lucille Foehrenbacher, Jean (Don) Williams, Betty Lemke, and Bert (Marianne) Nies; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frank (2001); parents; son, Ken; grandson, Shawn; brothers and sisters, Leander Nies, Mildred Nies, Rose Nies, Alexander Nies, Ray Nies and Fredrick Nies.
