Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2001, at the St. Benedict's Center Chapel, St. Cloud, for Lillian Laubach who died Monday at St. Benedict's Center. Friends may call from noon until the time of service Friday at St. Benedict's Chapel. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Arrangements were handled by the Williams Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Lillian was born on September 2, 1913, in Spring Hill to Math and Katherine (Wander) Laubach. Lillian attended St. Cloud Business College and was employed by Granite City Jobbing from 1939 until 1951, when she joined 1st American National Bank (now Bremer Bank). She retired as assistant cashier in 1973. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella; the Crosier Apostulate; the St. Paul's Christian Women; and St. Paul's Catholic Church. Lillian enjoyed bowling and golfing with her friends, as well as traveling with her sister and friends.
Lillian is survived by her sister, Elinda Laubach of St. Cloud; and ten nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Elmer, Alma, Alphonse, and Edward Sr.
Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Church or to St. Benedict's Center.
