Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, St. Cloud. He died in Phoenix, Arizona following a courageous battle with cancer. The Rev. Tim Wenzel will officiate. James Fuchs was born in Melrose to Art and Julietta (Spanier) Fuchs. He graduated from Melrose High School. He married Elaine Wohkittle May 8, 1971 in Farmington. He owned and operated Coronado Machine Shop in Phoenix.
He is survived by his wife and daughter, Judy, (Jeff) Cooper, Colorado, son Brian, Arizona, and 3 grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Stephen Fuchs, California, Pat (Al) Hommerding, St. Cloud, Art Fuchs, St. Cloud, Lorraine (Jim) Struzyk, Spring Valley, Janet (Jim) Welch, Corcoran, Mona (David) Barr, Ramsey and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. One brother, Robert and one sister, Marlene preceded him in death.
