Friends are invited to attend funeral services Tuesday, May 13, 1952, at
10:30 a.m. in the chapel of B.C. Wallace & Son, 520 North Sutter St.
Committal at Park View Cemetery.
Emma Wade's maiden name is Vineyard. Polly Agner's first husband was Elisha M Vineyard. Emma (Vineyard) Wade was from Scott, Virginia. They also moved to Dent, Stockton, California. The connection has to be from Virginia. Questions- How would the daughter of Emma Wade know William Coley to have and keep the connection. How close did they live in Virginia and in Stockton? I think we have something here.

Alright, I figured it out. Sarah/ Sadie/ Sally/ (Wade) Wales was once married to John A Coley.
John A Coley died on 7/3/1945. James Wales was her second husband. Her actual name appears to have been Sarah Sally Wade and she was part of a very large family. Her mother was Emma Vineyard and her father was Lilburn Neal Wade. Her mother lived until 1952. Some of those pictures you sent me copies of are her with her sisters such as Bessie and Myrtle.
Sally was born in Virginia on Jan 31, 1884 and died on Jan 6, 1972.
That explains why she remained close to grandpa. Love all of this. Thanks
