Annanias WALLACE

THE ANNANIAS WALLACE/WALLIS FAMILY (Draft)

It is my belief that William Wallis and Annanias Wallace were brothers or first cousins. There are very good yDNA matches for descendants of William and Annanias.

Do not let Wallace/Wallis be a problem in your research. Clerks used Wallace, Wallis, Wallas, Wallice etc. and sometimes used as many as three variations in the same document. Use the name you are comfortable with but realize that clerks used the spelling that THEY were comfortable with and possibly not the spelling the family used.

Check the Wallace/WALLIS DNA Project at www.familytreedna.com/Public/WallaceDNA/ . Our Wallis/Wallace Family is in Group # 04. The William Wallis decendants are #'s 8166, 73077, 74882, 76071 and 5081 and the Annanias Wallace descendants #'s are 134793, 74323, 192299 and 244699. We need descendants from the other two sons of Annanias after they are identified and we welcome additional members.
