"Carrey" is possibly Carraig or Carsaig. The earliest Old Parochial Registers (OPRs) for the parish of Kilfinichen and Kilviceuen, including all baptisms before 1804, were all supposedly lost overboard into Loch Scridian during a storm, as they were being transported between churches by boat.Census
