Individual Details
Ellen BEMBRIDGE
(Jun 1849 - 1929)
On 1901 census lived at 6th house, 17 Court, Lancaster Street, Birmingham. Lived with her sister Emily and adopted son Robert Allcock. I do not think he was legally adopted as in 1891 Robert Allcock was the adopted son of Elizabeth Hall who lived at Court 14, 1-2 Lancaster Street.
Eleanor is registered as a spoon polisher and Emily as a paper bag maker. On 1891 census Eleanor and sister Emily are registered under Bainbridge. Still live at same address but no Robert Allcock.
1911 census living with adopted son Robert and his wife, and sister Emma (Emily). They live at 59 Gem Street, Birmingham.
