Individual Details

Elizabeth HIGGINS

(Sep 1839 - Mar 1920)

Also known as Eliza. On free BMD married in June 1866. On 1871 census Annie Bembridge was at her grandmothers house in 4 court, 5 house Sheep Street. Annie Higgins not Bembridge on BMD.. Must have lived or stayed with her grandmother when census taken, Think Eliza was a single mother.
There was a Harriet Bembridge on census living with William and Harriet Higgins in 1871. There is no birth certificate for Harriet Bembridge. Whose daughter is any ones guess.
1911 census cannot find her as Bembridge but found Elizabeth Bembridge as living at Aston Union Workhouse, was previously a charwoman and is the same age.
