John: I've attached Helen Shaw's death certificate. She had remarried af ter Morton McDuffee's disappearance, to George Lloyd. They had no childr en, other than her daughter Gladys. They lived in Portland, Multnomah C ounty, Oregon. Gladys married my grandfather, Sylvan Owen West, on Dec. 1 5, 1917. They had 3 sons: Raleigh, Maylon, and my father Bayard, born Ma r. 31, 1925 in Portland. He married my mother, June Helen Woodruff on Ap ril 28, 1946, after returning from his Navy service in the Pacific. She' s the daughter of Chester C. Woodruff and Helen Grace Moore, and was bor n on June 18, 1925. Bayard died June 5, 2005. June is still alive, and l iving in the house where my brothers and I were born, in Portland. I ha d 4 brothers (1 died in infancy) and 2 sisters. My two oldest brothers a re both deceased. I married David Aires, born in PA in 1954, and we hav e a daughter born in 1985, married in 2006, and a grandson born Nov. 200 6. David is a manager for Intel Corp. We met when he came to work at th e plant where I worked in Beaverton, Oregon. He is in Japan on busines s this week. So we lost are Shaw name long ago, with Ellen. Pat
