Private JAMES PORTER, R.S.F., was employed in the Plains Quarry, Dunlop , and resided with his father. Mr. James Porter, gasworlier,, in Main Str eet. He joined the army at 18 in July, 1915, and went through the Gallipo h campaign before going to Egypt. He,too, came back with the 52nd Divisio n to France, and he was killed by a shell on the 2nd October at Pronville , a little to the west of Cambrai
