Jane was the daur of William Baird b abt 1773 and Agnes Boag b abt 177 7 m 31/8/1798 in Old Monkland I may have marr cert on them too but inf o I have is he is the same William Baird of the William Baird Mining Comp any who owned most of the mines in this area.

Also read a local book on conversations/with the author and older peopl e written years ago and reference from a Jock Whyte and his sister Mrs P ender whose mother was Mary Bow (daur of Agnes and John married to the R obert Whyte who made the violin for David McCallums (actor)father, pi c of John and Mary been sent on to you before I think, of the old man sit ting on a chair with one leg and the old lady Mary Bow standing beside hi m,)
** their son and daur are the ones who made refernces to the Bairds bein g their ancestors...
