Happy Birthday to my great grandmother who was born on 13/12/1841 in Char les Street, Kilsyth, Scotland, Her name was Christina Shaw Fergus, marrie d to the gentleman beside her, Malcolm Finlayson. A story told about he r was that my grandfather George said he was sick of porridge and wouldn' t eat it for breakfast so Christina served it up for lunch and then dinne r. My grandfather was was reputed to have said "It was the best porridg e he'd ever tasted". She died in Brisbane, Australia in 1926.
