Susan West

(1799 - 15 Oct 1884)

Some records say Waste - I believe it should be West

I have a Susan Sim in the 1871 Scotland census.
She was age 70 born in Ireland.
She is staying in 159 Gardiner Street, Milton, Glasgow.
She has two boarders Jane Kerry age 28 and Thomas Kerry age 30.
She was born about 1801. Possibly she has lied about her age as she was a ge 67 in the 1861 census if this is the same Susan Sim.

In the 1861 Scotland Census, there is a washerwoman called Susan Sime.
Born 1794 Ireland. She was staying at 83 North Woodside Road, Milton, Gla sgow.
She is age 67. Staying with her are Peter Sime age 23 Coalminer born Glas gow and Alexander
Sime age 15 Iron Moulder born Glasgow.

death of Susan Sim, Pauper. Widow of John Sim, Cotton Spinner. She died o n 15th October 1884 in the City poorhouse in Glasgow St. Rollox area.
It looks like she was 85 years old and died of Senile Decay. This would m ake her born 1799.
