Hi John It appears that we may have relatives in common ... Robert Ander son and Janet Patrick and their family - John (1835), Janet Shaw Anderso n (1837), Robert (1838), Elizabeth (1841), James (1843), Matthew (1845) a nd Alexander (1847) and Jane (1851). Alexander Anderson emigrated to Au stralia in 1860 and is my great grandfather. I believe he emigrated wit h Janet, Elizabeth, James, Matthew and Jane (Jean). Their brother John wh o was already married at the time may have arrived in Australia about 186 2. Do we have a connection here? Regards Bev (Plowman)

Arrived in Sydne y, Australia 15 October 1860 "Telegraph" at age 13years. Also on boar d - James (17) butcher, Matthew (15) butcher, Janet (23) Gent Servant, El izabeth (19) Gent Servant and Jane (8).
