Hi John
I am a descendant of Alexander Shaw (1856 -1911), son of
David & Elizabeth. My family tree is liocated on "Geni"
and as a result of the newly merged informatiom, your
family tree information has become available.
I feel that we likely have the same ancestors on our
trees.
Alexander and his wife Margaret (nee Macfarlane)
migrated to Australia in 1883 on the vessel "Dharwar"
with some children (including my G grandmother) to be
followed by some more born in Australia. It seems that
Alexander was a tailor.
