y, May 27, 1996 at the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Sydney she was the daugh ter of the late Dick and Florence (Early) Acton, Balls Creek. She was t he last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by six s ons, Charlie, Burlington, Ont., Kenney, Sandy, both of Lower Sackville, Bi lly, Truro, Ian, Waverley, Kevin, at home; five daughters, Irene (Mrs. K en Bungay), Ottawa, Ont., Jean Young, at home, Kay (Mrs. Bob Bieren), Hali fax, Lynn (Mrs. Graeme MacDonald), Port Hood, Debbie (Mrs. Darren Hopkins ), Cornwall, PEI; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was pre deceased by her husband, Fraser A., sons, Fraser (Sonny) and Donald in inf ancy, four sisters, Helen MacRitchie, Bea Johnston, Ivy MacLean, Lil Rossi ter and three brothers, Tom, Dick and John. No visitation by request. Fune ral service will be held at Snow's Chapel, Windsor Street, Halifax. Wednes day at 2 p.m. Burial At Lakeside Cemetery, Thursday at 3 p.m. Memorial Don ations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Halifax Infirmary or the V ON.
