Alonzo Jockemck was born in Poland in 1901. Josephine Kokocki was bo rn in 1907 in Poland, They were married in St. Mary's Polish Church on Ju ne 25, 1925 by Rev. James M. Kiely. Their attendants were Agnes Paruch a nd Paul Jockemeck.
Alonzo was active in St. Mary's Church and was a member of the Polish Orch estra. He was a crane operator at the Steel Plant. Josephine was a memb er of the Altar Society of Matki Boskiej Saetynskie and was very acti ve in its affairs.
Their six children are as follows:
Annie is married to Greg Musial in New Waterford and they have a son David .
Sophie married Bill Neville, Sydney and they have five children.
Mary is married to Tony Marmom, Sydney and they have three children.
Teresa is married to Cal Kelly, North Bay, Ont., and they have two childre n.
Stanley, Sydney, is married to Cecilia DeMarco and thry have two girls.
Frank died in 1947 at the age of 19 after an accident at the Steel Plant.
Josephine died in 1946 and Alonzo died in 1958.
