Obituary of James Brent McCarterJames Brent McCarter left this earth on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. He has been reunited with his Mother and Father, Lilah and Ren McCarter along with his beloved wife, Sandra Sue Hyslop McCarter and dearest sister, Calene Stanton.
Brent enjoyed sixty-five colorful and fun-filled years with his friends and family members. He attended East Central High School and graduated in 1971. He worked as a cook, car sales-man, and manager for multiple businesses in the Tulsa Metro area. He was known best for lending a hand to anyone he could, always ready to cook a meal for a friend and sharing a story about one of his many adventures.
His survivors include Daughters: Krista Gilbert-Hays and Shelly Gilbert-Meserve & their families; Kaye Fisher & husband, Avery; Son: Eddie Settles & wife, Missy; Grandchildren: Colin, Zack, Tori, and Connor Fisher; Tyler & Lexi Settles, Tanner Settles; Brothers: Johnny Burns, Richard Smith, Paul Hacker and Rick Shatto; Sisters: Joyce Pantry, Debi Mainard and Sheilah Scott-Hacker; Neices: Becky Pantry Ingram, Nichole Burns Lewis, Paige McElyea and Simone Kinnison along with his many friends.
