Obituary of Mark Allan Weaver
Mark Allan Weaver, 46, of Hamer, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after a boating accident on Mud Lake near Terreton.
He was born March 17, 1966, in Polson, Mont. He was the youngest of three children born to John Weaver and Teeny Waterman Weaver. He grew up and attended high school in the Bozeman area. Mark then attended and graduated from broadcasting school.
On Feb. 12, 2000, he married Sherril Kae Woodard in Bozeman, Mont. As a result of this marriage, he became a loving and dedicated father to Sherril's four children.
Mark worked as a radio disc jockey in Livingston, Mont., and in Idaho Falls. He began his career in law enforcement in 2004 while working security at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. In the spring of 2005, he began work for the state of Montana at the Deer Lodge State Penitentiary as a prison guard. One year later, in 2006, he began his employment with the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office as a detention deputy. Mark was employed at the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office at the time of his death.
Mark began a new chapter in his life when his granddaughter, Natalie Susan, came into the world and he lovingly became "Grandpa Mark." Mark was a devoted Christian who knew and loved the Lord. He rarely spoke of his beliefs; however, he was the first to pray when asked. Mark deeply loved his family, friends and co-workers. He enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was fishing, four-wheeling or hunting. He had a deep, loving bond with his pets and treated them as members of his family.
Survivors are his wife, Sherril Weaver of Hamer; stepchildren, Cody Webster of Idaho Falls, Shirley Richey and fiance Martin Mattson and granddaughter Natalie Sue, all of Firth, Dillon Richey of Boise and Amber Woodard of Hamer; parents, John and Marilyn Weaver of Kalispell, Mont.; brother, John (Joanna) Weaver of Hamilton, Mont.; sister, Andrea (Steve) Kenney of Billings, Mont.; and a whole gaggle of wonderful nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
