Margaret "Monie" Prentice Griffitts, 74, of Ft. Lauderdale entered into Eternal Life Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L., of 39 years; and grandson, Nicholas A. Mascieri. She is survived by her son, Robert L. (Sandy) Griffitts, Plantation; daughters, Elizabeth A. (Larry) Lyon, Lake Worth, Barbara L. (Earnest) Mason, No. Lauderdale, Brenda L (George) Mascieri, Erial, N.J.; sisters, Leone Wendt, Racine, WI, Roberta (Thomas) Moldenhauer, Ft. Lauderdale, Patricia (Dennis) Cromwell, Racine, WI; grandchildren, Emily A. & Katie F. Painter, Lake Worth, Michael L. Mascieri, Erial, NJ, Ernest E. & Matthew L. Mason, No. Lauderdale.
Margaret graduated from the College of William & Mary. She resided in Gloucester Township, NJ for 32 years and was a teacher at Sterling High School for 20 years. She relocated to Ft. Lauderdale where she recently retired after 10 years from the Independent Life Insurance Co.
