Barry Lynn Russell, age 51, of Bristol, VA, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 11, 2013 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Marion, VA on February 19, 1962. Barry was a lifelong resident of Bristol and he attended Highlands Fellowship Church. HE was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Paschal Russell.

Funeral services will be held 8 pm, Thursday, November 14, 2013 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Powers and Ronnie Worley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, prior to the service. Interment will be held 11 am, Friday, at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John McDavid, Joe Itoh, Tony Lagard, Jerry Whitaker, Ronnie Greer and Jeff Russell.
