Obituary of Minnie Renfro Simer
Mrs. Minnie Simer, (nee) Renfro, age 18 years, 5 months, one day, born in Lincoln county, Kansas August 13, 1886, died January 14, 1905. Married to Douglas Simer March 11, 1903 at Meeker, Colorado. She leaves a husband, little son, a father, two brothers, and four sisters to mourn her loss.
Oh Minnie you have left us. But we hope to meet in heaven where parting is no more.
Mrs. Simer was taken ill with the measles on Sunday, Jan. 8 at the home of Frank Holt. She became convalescent after a few days, and thinking herself out of danger went about as before, when she was taken with connection of the lungs causing her death Saturday night.
Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church Monday at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Benj. Hill.
