CEDAR CITY -- Bonnie Lou Davis Smith, 62, of Cedar City, Utah, passed away September 22, 2004, in St. George, Utah. Bonnie Lou was born January 23, 1942, in Salt Lake City, to William "Billy" Leslie and Minnie Jane Alvey Davis. She married Holbert Basil Smith in Provo, Utah, March 19, 1958. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on October 22, 1976.
She is survived by her son, Robert G. Smith, Cedar City; and her sister, Leda Mae (Alfred "Al") Foster, Bryce, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Holbert; parents, William "Billy" and Minnie Davis; a baby boy, Steven William; and a baby girl.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mountain View LDS Chapel, 370 North 4050 West, Cedar City. Friends may call at the ward chapel in Cedar City on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Escalante Cemetery later Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Directors: Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Gunnison.
