Samuel Copenhaver
(1901 - 1925)
Never married. He was the only child who survived the Railroad Crossing Accident. He was lying in the lap of a man sitting on the back seat of the hack when the train struck them. Sam had facial injury (some cinders were always visible on his cheek). He had pneumonia which left him with T.B. Buried in the James Campbell Copenhaver family plot, Glenwood Cemetery, Bristol, Tennessee. He attended schools in Bristol, Tennessee and Bluff City, Tennessee.
