Death
Obituary of Kent GriffittsGRIFFITTS, Kent C., 80, of Marion, died Wednesday, January 10, 1996, in Wexford House Nursing Home in Kingsport, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josie Mace Griffitts. He is survived by one daughter, Sarah Griffitts of Kingsport, Tenn.; one sister, Iona Griffitts of Chilhowie; one grandson, Chad Kent Archer of Atkins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12, 1996, at 3 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Elizabeth United Methodist Church in care of Joanne Barton, Route 1, Sugar Grove, Va. 24375. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
