The record of the orphan's court held at Lancaster on 2 Jun 1746, with Conrad Weiser as one of the several members of the legal council, show that Hans George had died sometime previously, seeing that his wife, Agnes, was then the wife of Jacob Hecker, it is possible that Hans Georg Poorman is the George Poorman who died intestate as early as 1739. At the 1746 session, Christopher was granted letters of Administration, and both he and Peter, perhaps the only surviving sons, were appointed through the court of Common Pleas, to receive the sum of L5 each, "for his full share and part of his fathers
estate."
