Jacob F. MOYERS
(17 Jun 1766 - 26 Oct 1837)
It may be that Jacob's mother was a Quiggle or Quigel as one of his daughters was given this middle name. Also this notice appeared in the Columbia Chronicle in Dayton, Washington in October of 1890.
"John Quiggle, of Stockton, California, is in the city visting T. M. May, who is a relation. As the gentlemen have not seen each other for about 30 years, it was a difficult matter for Mr. May to establish his identity to the satisfaction of his cousin."
