Laura Ennis Barton, age 94, died Saturday, June 28, 1997 in Francis Marion Manor.
Ms. Barton was a lifelong resident of Smyth County having lived in the Sugar Grove and Teas area. She attended the Valley View Baptist church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 30, at 8 p.m. in Barnett's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. Interment was held Tuesday, July 1, at 10 a.m. at the McCarter Cemetery.
Barnett's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
