William BOURN I

In 1686, in New Kent County, Virginia, William I was listed as one of the "headrights" claimed in a land grant to Nicholas Wyatt. In 1689, he was listed as a land owner. In 1698, 1700, and 1705 his tithables were assigned to road duty. In 1704, he was taxed on 140 acres.
The St. Peter's Parish Register lists two men -- Stephen Bourn and William Bourne Jr. -- who were probably the sons of William I.
