Naoma Rae Palmer

Naoma R. Spackman, 86, a resident of Fairfield, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her home.
Naoma was born on April 20, 1931 in Gooding, Idaho, to Albert and Agnes Palmer. She graduated from high school at St. Teresa’s Academy in Boise, Idaho in 1950. She spent summers at her grandparents’, the McCarter’s, ranch on the Camas Prairie and met Thomas Spackman. They were married on July 15, 1951. She traveled to different army posts for two years. After that she settled into being a loving farm wife and mother. She was a master seamstress and was extremely talented at other hand work. She was always making and giving away crocheted angels and Santa Clauses to people she knew.
She is survived by: her son, Dirk and his wife, Marcella; a daughter, Jennifer and her husband, Delbert Adams; two sisters, Jackie and Mary Sue; a brother, Bill and his wife, Mary; grandchildren, Megan Spackman and Ginger and her husband, Tyler Personeni; two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Vinny Personeni; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; one son, Craig; her mother and father; a brother-in-law; grandparents; two uncles; two aunts and a cousin.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel. Burial will follow at the Manard Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral chapel.
A luncheon will follow the graveside service at the Senior Center in Fairfield.
The family suggests memorials to the Soldier Mt. Ski Patrol.
