John Howland

(1599 - February 23, 1673)

John Howland sailed on the Mayflower, his brothers came to America a couple years later. He was a servant or secretary of John Carver. John H married Elizabeth Tilley who was taken in by Carver when both her parents died the first winter in Plymouth. John and Elizabeth Tilley Howland had 10 children, all survived and had their own children. In 2010 John and Elizabeth have about 2 million descendants in America.
