John Drake was born in England, his England ancestry is unknown but he was previously connected to Henry 8th, Shakespeare thru first wife Lettice and Sir Francis Drake. Most of these have been proven not true or or at least questionable. John was a woodworker, a founder of Windsor CT and involved in the town services there.

There is no proof of this marriage or relationship, but she is Shakespeare's niece.

On the Mary and John sailed from Plymouth England to Nantasket, which may be part of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Everyone on the ship settled in Dorchester Massachusetts.

He became a freeman in the Massachusetts Bay Colony, Dorchester included in this.

Will

His will names five children: John, Job, Elizabeth, Jacob, Mary, doesn't give widow's name, only named as 'wife'

Burial

His actual burial spot is unknown. The Founders Monuent has his name and also Henry Wolcott and Thomas Dewey.

Probate

At the probate Job Drake had questions or issues, the family discussed these, then the children and widow signed an agreement. This from the abstract of the will, not the actual will, probate and inventory.
