James York
(June 14, 1648 - October 26, 1676)
James York 'the third in America' was born June 14 in 1648, Braintree Massachusetts. He was made a freeman and granted land from his father at age 18. At 20 he married Deborah Bell in Stonington, Connecticut. He received land grants for service in Indian wars and died at age 28.
