1893 - Mrs. John Markey of Java Center died at her home Sunday, Feb 26, aged 43 years. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, and five children, three sons and two daughters. The family have the entire sympathy of the community. Funeral was held at St. Patrick’s church and was the largest ever held in the church, Rev. Father Duffy officiating.
Wm. Tuite of Manisfee, Mich. and Andrew Tuite of Virginia were called home to attend the funeral of their sister, Mrs. Jas. Markey
