Adam Rinnert (1820-1893) m. in 1845 NYC, NY Catherine Lappe/Lappa (1821-1907). He was from KurHessen, Germany, and eventually lived in Elbert, Elbert Co, CO from about 1871 or so, until they died. They are buried in Elbert cemetery. This Rinnert/Lappe family evidently went from NYC, to Colchester, CT and to possibly Hartford, CT, then to Sr. Catherine’s Canada from the early 1850’s to 1860-ish ... then went to Pt. Crescent, Huron Co, MI ... and then my branch (Adam Rinnert, Jr.), his parents Adam and Catherine, and four sisters removed to Elbert Co. CO. (Source: Karen Rinnert Parsons)
