Newspaper story says Irvin Couffer, a lineman with the Steelton Light, Heat and Power Company, was about 20 feet above the ground, "perched among the cross pieces," when he touched two live wires and was electrocuted. His "limp body fell to the pavement dragging the wires with it." His neck was broken in the fall.Burial
Newspaper account said the funeral would be held at the home of his father, Charles M. Couffer, with Rev. M. P. Hocker, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating.Endnotes
