Ella Hendrickson

Her obituary says: "She was a teacher in Crawford Co., Ill., for several years. She had been in declining health for the past few years having spent the winter of '97 and '98 at the home of her uncle, Newt Hackett, and for a time seemed to be improving but after a few weeks' illness of the dread disease, la grippe, she grew rapidly worse and on last Thursday evening was called to meet her mother, Rosann (Hackett) Hendrickson, who died while Ella was yet an infant. Ever ready with a bright smile and a cheerful word, Ella carried sunshine to all with whom she came in contact and she will be sadly missed by all her sorrowing friends."
