Dr. Emmett K. LeDune
(1900 or 1901 - 26 Jul 1964)
He was a deacon of the Sullivan First Christian Church and a member of the Sullivan Elks Lodge No. 911, Sullivan Lodge No. 263, F. & A.M., the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Evansville, and the Zorah Shrine Temple of Terre Haute.
Dr. LeDune was graduated from Ohio State University in 1929. He acquired his masters degree in the science of parasitology and Pathology in 1933 from OSU. He worked in tuberculosis eradication projects for the federal government and the state of Ohio and also conducted wildlife research for the New York State Conservation Department. He had practiced veterinary medicine for 35 years and was licensed in New York and Ohio as well as Indiana.
Dr. LeDune was also a member of the American Veterinarian Medical Association and was a past 7th district president of the Indiana Veterinarian's Association.
