In his obituary, it says Mr. Young "was a retired machine operator for Clifford Jacobs. He had been with the firm 25 years when he retired in 1968. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Urbana, and the Modern Woodmen." He had formerly lived at 506 S. Cottage Grove Ave., Urbana, but was living at 1507 Thornton Drive, Champaign, at the time of his death.
