From his obituary, "Mr. Rogers was the noblest work of God, an honest man. He lived to many years a firm believer in Universalism. As he approached the dark valley of death, he met his end with resignation, cheered by the glorious hope which sustained him through life of finally rejoicing with the world redeemed by God's grace and no wanderer lost."Endnotes
