Jesse King and Lydia, his wife, late Lydia Carrigan, of Brown County, Ohio, sell to James Carrigan of Brown County for $150 "a quantity of land belonging to them as heirs of Mark Carrigan decd." supposed to be 100 acres in Huntington Township. Mary Carrigan, John Carrigan, James Carrigan, Adam Carrigan and Lydia King, only sons and daughters of Mark Carrigan and Sarah Carrigan, widow of said Mark, of Brown County, Ohio, made a final payment of $38.37 1/2 for the purchase of 100 acres of land which Mark Carrigan had contracted to buy at ten shillings per acre. The contract was modified to a price of $1.66 2/3 per acre, making a total sale price of $166.67. Land was located in Thomas Perkins survey.Census
