"Find Contractor Was Murdered
Special to The Inquirer
TAMAQUA, Pa., April 3 -- The body found in the Schuylkill River south of here yesterday was today identified as that of Henry Skelly, a local contractor, who drew $100 from a bank on March 22, presumably to go to Philadelphia to be operated on. There was no water in the body, and marks about the head caused the coroner's jury to bring in a verdict that Skelly was murdered by persons unknown.
