Two official records are clear but they are contradictory. In the 1920 Census she is listed as married Maude D. Freeman and is living with her parents in Lakeview, Carlton County, Minnesota. Oscar is not in the household.
In 1930 Maude and Oscar are living with Oscar's parents on their dairy farm in Kroschel, Kanabec County, Minnesota and is working for them as a laborer. There is a five year old Wesley Freeman listed as a boarder.
In 1940 Oscar (now Arvid) and Maude are still living in Kroschel as farmers. Wesley now has the Felt surname.
