Death
There are two records on her death date. Freeman Families of New England provides 22 July 1779 and indicates Dickerman [Hannah's grandson Horace Dickerman] gives her death date incorrectly as 12 July 1771. The Dickerman information, although contained in The American Genealogist, actually comes from Page 1 of the scrap book of Hannah Freeman Ford. The entry is preceeded with the statement, "Birth and death of my Great grand Father & Mother...." Freeman Families uses as it's source, Edmund Halsey's History of Morris County, New Jersey; Morristown, New Jersey Bill of Mortality: Register of all Deaths in Presbyterian and Baptist Congregations 1768 - 1806; and Page 80, Book B-6, page 68 of Morristown, New Jersey, Presbyterian Church Records.Burial
