The funeral for Clarice M. Freeman, 69, 3111 Broadway, Fargo, will be at 1 Friday in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 today, with a prayer service at 7:30, in Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. She died Tuesday.
Clarice Jackson, known as Jackie, was born Feb. 21, 1919, in Fargo, where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1937. She worked as a sales clerk for Woolworth's and J.C. Penney Co, Inc., both Fargo, and for Seigel's Clothing, Fargo, for 18 years. She also worked for Trans-America Phone Service, Fargo, for 12 years. She married Harold Freeman April 18, 1942. She retired in 1980.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Hal, Thief River Falls, Minn.; and Ron, Arlington Heights, Ill.; a brother and four sisters, Milton E. [Note: surname Jackson], Torrance, Calif.; Harriet (Mrs. Joe) Cuppich, Madalyne (Mrs. Vernon) Johnson and Dorothy Berglund, all Fargo; and May June Scantlen, La Grange Park, Ill; and three grandchildren"
