I apologize for the late reply. I have just changed jobs and moved to another state and have not been able to do any research for quite some time. Now, concerning your inquiry into the relationship between Wm Gilles (or 'Gillies' as it is spelt in Mrs. Caron's, Harding Genealogy ) and Wm (b.1772) Harding, they are son and father respectively. What Harding Genealogy book are you referring to? I wasn't aware of any other genealogy book other than the one I have just referred to. I have quite a bit more information than is posted on the web and would happy to scan this info and send it as a PDF attachment or mail some photocopys if you would like.
