DiedWells - At his residence in this city,on Saturday June 3, 1893, Thurston Kennedy Wells, aged 72 years, 3 months and 7 days
Mr. Wells was a native of New York having been born in Sullivan, Madison County in that state on the 26 of Feb 1821. He has two sisters living in that state now. He moved to Kansas in 1857 and settled near Osawatomie but went East again in 1860. In 1870, he came to Kanss again, made his home in this county. He was married to Salome Crandall March 20, 1861. Seven children have come to bless and gladden his fireside, but three of them were called away before him. He became a member of the church in his youth and was an earnest consistent faithful Christian until he heard the call to come up higher.
