Clara's first husband was either John Joseph Hogan, Charles Lake Parr or Frederick Lambert Till.

Divorce

In the months of July, August and September 1878 at 42, Bernard Street, Holbourn Clara was accused of comitting adultery with divers unkown persons. Clara denied any incidents of adultery and accused her husband of cruelty and brutality towards herself and her child from another relationship. Mother and child were said to have been beaten and denied food.
